Monthly new hire class drop sheets posted in base CPO offices. Previous employers are always listed.
Your percentages don't mean too much really. If 10% are corporate guys, but only 5% of applicants are corporate, than that would show a preference.

JBLU prefers pilots with cabin cleaning experience. Now put on your silly blue gloves and get back there.

We pilots are such arrogant turds....

Who gives two solid craps what anyone else does with their life...really? Are you that insecure that you need to belittle someone elses choices since they did not choose the path YOU ARE on? I bet you read People magazine and watch the Kardashians too. Grow the hell up...seriously. Pilots wonder why people really do not like us.

I ran into a guy the other day who has a family and could not be more happy instructing. Some on here would say "He says that because he cannot get another job.." No, because he is happy! People on here are not happy unless they try to make other people unhappy.

If you were at NJA and left...stay gone. Slamming those that stayed really makes you look like a choad (google it). If someone wants info on the job, there is a crap load out of it out there...good and bad. Coming on here and saying " I am better than you for leaving!" really makes you look like a dick.

This place is growing to be like FlightInfo....

Getting the thread back on topic regarding the NetJets TA......

TA ratified 12/20/2015 with new schedule types and pay scales. 15 and 18 day schedules no longer exist under the new contract.

7/7 Schedule will remain as the default schedule and is available to all pilots in every fleet and seat.

It will be joined by 4 new schedule types based on days worked during a 4-month period. The new schedule types will be based on a preferential bid system.
° 52-day Schedule (avg 13 days per month)
° 60-day Schedule (avg 15 days per month)
° 72-day Schedule (avg 18 days per month)
° 76-day Schedule (avg 19 days per month)

Was there any change to the 401-k? For round numbers, say the IRS limit is 17,000. You put in 9,000. At the beginning of the next year the company deposits the difference, 8,000 into your account? That was my understanding of the old system. Is that still correct? Thanks.

I think I would put in $1 if the company is going to make up the rest.

The employer matching contributions don't count toward the maximum limits that you can contribute to a 401(k) plan (18,000 for 2015 not including catch up contributions). There is, however, a combined contribution limit of $53,000 for the employer and employee contributions in 2015.

No, 50% company match up to the max allowed. If you put in 10k, the company puts in 5k.

I know, it was the cliff notes version of how it was (as asked).
