Union source? Deep throat?

Lets wait until an actual document comes out. Pilots LOVE gossip, rumor, innuendo, ect.

I'm voting no until I get free See's candy.

No way that would pass..... barely keeps up with inflation and the "signing bonus" is less than what we got in 2007! ($150/month = $1800/year)

It isn't 20% lol. There is no way it would pass, the union knows that. There is no way the president would stand in front of a group of pilots after agreeing to a TA with a smile on his face, and say that we achieved significant increases from 2007, and it be 20%. I am not getting my hopes up, but "significant increases" and 20% are counter intuitive.

That was given up in favor of a dilly bar. Sorry.

With all the rumors flying I think a lot of people are going to be pleased.

Hate to say it, a buddy of mine is at recurrent, he heard the same numbers from Pedro's mouth. So there you go. Guess if it gets turned down, negotiators will have get back in and get some cash.

So how does 20% Coincide with "significant increases from 2005 and 2007" because maybe I don't understand. First year pay in 2007 went from 39k to 54k. That is a 38% increase. 20% is almost half. This speculation stuff will all be over soon. But watching union members stand before us jittering, and chomping at the bit to spill the glorious news, does not promote a 20% increase. Unless it is 20% increase, with 25% COLA...

For the record, Pedro absolutely kept his mouth shut regarding any specifics so your buddy didn't hear it publicly. Why he would tell that to anyone with the expectation that it would be kept quiet is comical. Oh well, if it is, I know what my vote will be.

To quote Pedro on the email we all just received, "features substantial improvements in comparison to the 2007 Amended Agreement."

Just a guess at this point, but with a 20% raise a 10-year PIC would be around $170k gross (7/7) with the possibility of making $200k+ gross on the higher productivity schedules. If there is decent COLA, the same or better 401k and health insurance after a lot of initial complaining I think it would pass easy. With 2005 and 2007 it was rare to find anyone who would admit voting yes, but both TA's passed by significant/overwhelming margins.
