22in Luggage works for seven day trips.

One pair of jeans.
2-3 t shirts.
1-2 button downs or flannel.
1 pair of running shoes.
1 pair of flat style sneakers (think Vans or boat shoes)
3 white undershirts
5 underwear
2 workout shorts
2 workout shirts
Enough socks for work, walking and working out.
Toiletry bag
1 soft shell jacket
1 extra work shirt.

Dry clean the pants and one shirt on the road typically.

Typing it all out I'm not sure how it fits, but it does! Being short probably helps. I only roll the undershirts and workout clothes. Everything else is folded normally.

22" Luggage Works Stealth Bag

1 pair of flip-flops
1 pair of running shoes
1 pair of hiking shoes
1 pair of workout shorts (quick dry)
1 workout top (quick dry)
2 heavy cotton t-shirts
2 polo shirts
1 pair of cargo pants
1 pair of jeans
1 pair of cargo shorts
1 fleece jacket
6 pairs of socks, underwear, and white undershirts
3 uniform shirts
1 uniform sweater

I "Ranger Roll" everything before packing, and wear a full uniform with the blazer and overcoat on day one during the winter months.

I'm in a very busy fleet and rarely have long enough overnights to dry clean or launder anything....

I also carry a Luggage Works small duffle bag that I keep my shaving kit, toiletries, headset, iPad and chargers.

If you are doing these type of international trips, then you are probably staying at some of the same hotels trip after trip. I left bags at three hotels ( NRT, HKG, and SIN) for about fifteen years, with a pair of jeans, gym shoes, workout gear, a swimsuit, a small collapsible cooler, a light jacket, and a pair of uniform pants. The only items that I used every trip were the shoes and the jeans, but everything that I left in the suitcase were things that I did not have to pack. The only thing that I had to carry replacements for was the gym gear, and I knew in advance that I was unlikely to go to the gym more than twice on one trip. This bag that I left at the hotel was bigger than the one that I packed for my trips. Each time I arrived at one of these hotels I would pick up my drycleaned uniform shirt on check in, and drop off my current shirt to be cleaned for the next trip.
