Default Flexjet & FLOPS Restructuring - Article

Obviously bad news for pilots on certain fleets. On the other hand, for pilots tired of the craziness that is fractional flying (and their lame management teams), maybe this is the opportunity to pivot to the many airlines currently hiring... Take the payout and bolt.... Good luck to all involved!

Hmmmm...aircraft are parked for lack of pilots and the company needs fewer pilots? Interesting. I'm sure this has nothing to do with union negotiations.

Small cabin airframes are being parked and swapped into an On-Demand system but Large cabin remain fractional.

They have pushed back the G650 deliveries cause they haven't been able to sell the shares as previously planned.

Surprised the union hasn't come out with a response yet.

F!ck 91K. Take it from a guy that left NJA. Take the money and run to 121. More money, less work, and a much bigger office. Unless you go 73.

Take my advice from a guy who has flown both 121 and 91K, go where you are happiest, and fly at the place that's best for you and your family be it 121, or 91K, be happy, YMMV, do not make life decisions based on these forums : )

Obviously a lot of moving parts, but some follow-up questions:
- Will the Legacy 600s remain on the fractional side at FLOPS while the Beechjets and C750s move over to the on-demand side (resulting in fewer crews for those types)? Is that the basic plan?
- Are all of the Beechjets now upgraded to 400XTs?
- Will the FLOPS Phenom 300s be integrated more into the Flex fractional fleet?
