Default Bush Flying

I know I am just starting my aviation career. I am just about to finish up my PPSEL. My question is this, are there any people on here that have any experiance or any ideas on how to get into bush flying. Im talking flying supplies ( medical, food, etc etc) in Alaska or some other remote area that isnt made readily available with roads? I really really want to do something of this sort, before I make the eventuall move into the regional scene.

I know my next move is my instrument, and then commercial. After both of those I will most likely get my CFI and instruct while I save some money and build time... Then Ill move into my Multi, Instr. and comm. Should I get the MEI?

Would it benefit me for the Bush jobs, will it make me a stronger candidate for a regional?

What would you suggest

Anything you add to your resume will make you a stronger candidate for any job. As far as bush flying, move to AK!! They want pilots with local experience in most cases. If you can recieve training there and state your intentions, it could key up someone's interest in you.

Ah. WEll I am actually planning a move to Alaska in May. Of course nothing is decided yet, however, me and a good friend of mine are seriously looking at the possibility.

As for the training, I think I would hasve to still do it where I am, as I am not actually paying for it... I dont think my sponsors will liek the idea of me trucking up to AK...

Get training up there anyway. Pay for it yourself.
