Had Crandall on a DAL flight out of LGA shortly after he stepped down from AMR. He kept a real LOW profile. Rumor had it he didn't usually fly on AMR because of animosity between he and AMR employees.

Great book. Should be required reading for all airline and aspiring airline pilots.
