Default Berlin Airlift Anniversary

For those of you who will be in the Frankfurt / Mainz / Wiesbaden area on 29 June there will be a Berlin Airlift 60th Anniversary celebration on Wiesbaden Army Airfield in Germany (Open to the public).

Wiesbaden and Rhein-Main (Frankfurt Intl) were the two main US departure airfields for the airlift between 1948 and 1949.

Complete with static displays, historical recounts, music, food and fun. I'll let you all know more details as the community puts them out but if you have a layover that day and are looking for something a little different to do you might enjoy this.

Only about a 10-15 minute cab ride from the Mainz Hilton and 20 minutes from the Frankfurt Airport Sheraton. I'll try to grab an electronic version of the flyer and post it here in the next couple of days. PM me if you have any questions.
