Thumbs up Seafair's Top Pilot

I'd love to get a ride with the good Major ..... if he doesn't mind cleaning up the mess I know I'm going to make.

I was at our condo today and saw the Blue Angels at their best. Absolutely amazing how they can fly so close together in formation at high speed without mishap.

LineTroll, do you get to see the planes or work on them? Wash them perhaps?

The ANG planes, the Geico plane, the BruceAir Extra, the dueling Yaks, the two A10s and the Mustang, the two T1s, and the fireworks T6 were based with us this year. The two ANG planes they didn't let us touch (they actually got reaaally angry when they found some fingerprints in the wrong spot), but everything else was pretty much fair game, so we fueled, moved, sat in, looked at, whatever else you could do. A guy I work with talked with Bruce and said he's getting a ride in the Extra before he heads out for the year (luckkkcckyyyy!).

As for tight formation, I bet it's difficult! Friday was especially bumpy according to the A10 pilot, he said "that was the hardest I have ever worked." I believe he was referring to trying to stay in formation with the Mustang.

Oh my goodness!! The double entendre is too much for this married woman. We need one of our A10 guys to verify the meaning of that statement. If it were from a Hornet guy, I would understand exactly what he meant.
