Any place with a sleep room, recliners, internet, sunshine, and access to a crew car usually satisfies me. Oh, and one that doesnt smell like dead mice is a perk.

Million Air Albany NY has a nice facility which stands out to me. Theater room, crew lounge, card table, computers, sleep rooms, shower, fountain drinks, BMW crew car.

Wow. I wish I wasn't an airline pilot. These places sound nice. I don't even go near our crew rooms. I call them dungeons. If I sit on a couch too long, I feel my skin crawl. I wonder what bugs live in the fabric? I've seen mice run out from the couches to steal the food pilots leave behind. I avoid schedules with any time to sit. I'd rather keep flying all day than sit in a crew room. When I do sit. I find an empty gate and sit in the passenger waiting seats at the gate. You get CNN airport network on the TV and a window.

Was that at Ion Tiriac? Maybe I never was in the building long enough to see them. Usually only 45 minute turns. Long enough to refuel, find my pax, and grab an espresso or hot chocolate out of the machine by the door. Foot massage sure would have been nice before the 3 1/2 hour flight back home to Stuttgart.

Sugarland (KSGR) in Houston. Its a muni FBO but its the best I've been to so far. It has a coded door to get into the pilot lounge with a sleep room, tv room, workout room, planning room, free snacks and drinks.

I also like Million Air HOU. Free fountain drinks and a nice Jaguar to drive to get a bite to eat.
MillionAire at Topeka, KS.
Best BBQ ribs that I have ever had and they give you a coupon for it.
Lounge has big screen satellite TV and the people are very nice.
