One of the five pillars of aviatingism? What would be the other four?

Both the Air Force museum in Dayton and the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola should be in the top 5. The Dulles extension to the NASM is well worth a visit as well.

Think this would go along with the "Pay homage to heritage" Pilar...(Visiting museums/factories)

Yea, it's total bull****. The cinemas charge you a "convenience fee" for ordering online, when in essence they are the ones saving money from having to use less manpower to sell tickets while their automated system does it for them.
You should pay less imo, not more...

Just got back from Seattle today. I headed up to Everett on Monday for the tour and got concerned about a wasted trip when I saw the picketers at the road intersections. Sure enough, no tour due to the strike.

They did provide a plant video introduction, bus ride around the flight line to see the new planes off the line, and stop off at Paul Allen's Flying Heritage collection. Everyone was getting the Employee price of $7.50 to "stick it" to management.

I thougt the Future of Flight museum fell well short of it's potential. The computer simulations were overdone while "physical" exhibits of past, current, and future technology were lacking. The "future" was simply a brief overview of the 787 technology.

Overall I'm glad I went and will go again the next time I'm in the area for the real tour so long as there is no strike. However, if you're looking for the best aviation museum, go to Boeing Field and the "Red Barn."
