I think it was the day the Triple 7 landed short at Heathrow. Wups, no that was earlier this year... looks like it might have been the Northwest merger with Delta. I do remember that making waves here at APC.

Skyrocketing fuel prices, airlines going under every other week, and the Delta/NWA merger. Reporters were all over the aviation blogs and snaking quotes from our members for the national media.
