I love sports cars. Mostly because of growing up in a family that has been involved with auto-racing in various forms.

When I was little I REALLY wanted to be a Formula 1 driver. Coolest cars, hot chicks, big paycheck. Who wouldn't want that life?

I drive a trick little VW GTI 337 with a few minor performance mods. The thing scoots.

I drive an old 2001 accord because I could pay cash for it and gets nearly 30MPG. There is absolutely nothing special or interesting about it.

But therein lies the key. The value of what it retailed for brand new, or the value you bought it for

Thats why you dont buy a car brand new!! I'll always buy used because you're right about buying new, as soon as you leave the lot you loose money or "value". Once my GTO is paid for i'm keeping it and will likely buy a used truck cash as a DD.

My wifes TBSS is holding its value also because its like the GTO, its rare. There arent many of them on the road and it makes them hard to come by. I got lucky and found hers close to my home but my brother had to buy his out of florida just because there werent any closer than 1000 miles from him for the right price and condition. Supply and demand

I prefer Honda... I had bad luck with GM cars. Plus the resale on my Honda is much better.

I was a honda tech for 3 years after graduating Highschool and those little cars you can run to the ground.

But going fast is what I prefer though im still a Pilot in training.

This has been my toy for 4 years and rebuilt it from the ground up. Its a 93 nissan 240sx with a turbo charged 4 cyclinder engine.

I once had a teacher explain to me that when a car is moving 70mph there is only 1/4 sq. in of tire surface area touching the road for each tire. At 130mph there is only a pin drop for all 4 tires. So in theory we all have flying cars. almost
