Default Vintage Uniforms

I know someone collecting and refurbishing pilot and FA uniforms from the 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's. All airlines are needed. If you (your parents?, or grandparents?) have old unwanted uniforms taking up space, can you PM me?

I didn't know into what category to place this post. Thanks.

Exclamation Security Note!

MODERATOR INPUT: If you are going to give crew uniforms to someone please make sure you know who you're dealing with.

I was thinking the same thing. This is a security issue today's day in age.

While security is a very legitimate concern, wouldn't a uniform from the 50's and 60's look so out-of-place and obviously different, that it would negate any notion that it was real? I never underestimate the incompetence of TSA, but someone would figure it along the way, right?

Legitimate question...

Since you can't go to hundreds of websites and order modern uniforms

With all the company bling? You need to be registered with your company to buy that.

We take the conservative approach here, suggest you all do the same.

Agreed. But the 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's uniforms are probably safe. Anyway, she buys the same stuff on Ebay.

She should probably put up a website showcasing her collection so this wouldn't seem as fishy. Just my 2c..
