American Eagle Increases Jet Service Between Moline and Dallas/Fort Worth
Friday June 24, 3:03 pm ET

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add a second round-trip nonstop jet flight between Quad Cities International Airport in Moline, Ill., and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport beginning in August. The carrier began service between the two cities with one daily flight on June 9.
"This is good news for residents and businesses of the Quad Cities," U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois. "This additional American Eagle flight between the Quad Cities and Dallas/Fort Worth will give travelers in the Quad Cities more flight options and opportunities to reach destinations around the world."

"I knew that the signs were good when the initial Dallas/Fort Worth flights were booked nearly full when the service started," said Bruce Carter, Director of Aviation-Quad City International Airport. "That is exactly what we needed to prove that this airport and our regional travel base could, and would, support this nonstop service to Dallas/Fort Worth, and beyond." Carter adds that more flights will increase the connection opportunities for travelers into Mexico, and the Southwestern United States. "Initially, the connections into Mexico were good for some of the corporate travelers, but not as optimal for some of the leisure destinations. With the addition of this second flight, more connections will be available to travelers through the Dallas/Fort Worth hub which will add to the success of this route."

In addition to its two daily flights to Dallas/Fort Worth, American Eagle operates four nonstop daily flights to Chicago O'Hare from Quad City International.

The following new schedule between Moline and Dallas/Fort Worth will be effective beginning Aug. 1:
