Default Electronic logbook - Excel advice?

I've been using Logbook Pro for years and have been logging time leg by leg. I prefer to continue this for my electronic records, but I'm realizing that it will eventually result in a very large print job if I ever need to print out a full report for an interview. I'm trying to find a way to produce a report that combines flying done on the same day and on the same ship into one line. I know this is not possible with logbook pro so I've been thinking about exporting to Excel, converting there, and importing back to Logbook Pro for printing.

My Excel skills are a little rusty so I thought I'd see if anyone has tackled this before. Ideally if the date column and aircraft ID column matched among a series of rows, the rows would be merged so that flight time columns are added together, route TO column concantenated, etc. Do any Excel wizards have recommendations on how to structure a spreadsheet or formulas to accomplish this?

Redbird:
I use Excel to back up my paper logbooks. I have it formatted so that new columns may be changed or added. It also has a total row at the top, and each column may be filtered to show only desired values(a/c type, day hrs, night hrs, etc..) I dont know how easy itd be to port logbook pro data into it, but Id be happy to share it if you'd like.

This site (APC) has a pretty good E Loogbook. I have been using it for awhile now and no complaints. And, the price is right!

Ditto here....been using it for years in addition to the paper book. It makes filtering for application/insurance numbers way easier.

I'm all set as far as filtering/breaking down time goes. LBP databases are easily exported to Excel; I'm just trying to find a way to condense leg by leg information into one day(& ship) per line:

From:
1/1/12 N123AB KATL-KGNV 2.0
1/1/12 N123AB KGNV-KATL 2.2
1/1/12 N145AB KATL-KMYR 1.7
1/1/12 N145AB KMYR-KATL 1.9
1/1/12 N145AB KATL-KCHA 1.0

To:
1/1/12 N123AB KATL-KGNV-KATL 4.2
1/1/12 N145AB KATL-KMYR-KATL-KCHA 4.6

I know this is doable, but I'm not sure what the easiest way is without research. I figured I'd try to see if someone else had worked this out already.

Is there a way to make a turbine section at the top of the page? I was abe to change the SES column to turbine, but doesn't show the total.

Is there an easy way to get a page by page running total in excel when printing out, like you'd have at the bottom of each page in a paper logbook?
