Hello all!
After meeting a few local pilots (time-share and major), I've decided to start my own personal journey with a discovery flight this coming Saturday! I'm super excited and look forward to the possibility of earning my PPL this summer and, who knows, perhaps taking advantage of Seattle's great late-year weather for an IR course.
Also, if anyone in Seattle has recommendations for good clubs or volunteer opportunities, I'd love to hear about them.

I am a retiring international 767 Captain. I also do computer programming for a hobby. I need someone from JetBlue to contact me if you are computer savy. I have a good deal I would like to share with your fellow employees. Winkopp at g Mail dot com

Milestone; retired!
Actually, I retired a year ago from working on aircraft maintenance and support equipment, but better late announcing than never, eh?
I only miss one thing about work and that is walking to my hangar in the morning amongst the war-birds and heavy haulers on the ramp. I miss the aircraft! I used to certify, repair, and test the flightline gensets, chilly carts, nitrogen generators, hydraulic test stands, tripod & hydraulic jacks, engine slings and so on right down to the gear reduction wrenches used on prop transmissions.
I never posted much here because this forum is mainly for pilots and I was just one of the invisible guys that worked on the tools and equipment that keeps aircraft working properly:-) There's no world like the one on the flightline and I enjoyed it fully...

You're not alone on the forum here. A few of us are wrenches, and some of us really do enjoy what we do.
