Bingo Fuel iPad app
Greetings, all. Just completed my latest project -- an iPad app called Bingo Fuel HD. It's a simple application designed to aid the calculation of bingo fuel and other relevant numbers.
I set out to create an app that I would actually use -- one that's simple, accurate and efficient. While the iPad version is new, an iPhone version has been available for a little over a year. The app is not unit specific and may be used in general, corporate, military and airline type flying, if so desired.
I'm well aware that some aircraft have bingo fuel capability built right into the Fuel page or elsewhere in the FMS/FMC, which is fantastic. Here's hoping I see an airplane like that sometime soon! Until then, here are links to both:
iPad version: http://appstore.com/BingoFuelHD
iPhone version: http://appstore.com/BingoFuel
Or, you can simply search for "Bingo Fuel" on your iDevice App Store.
Check out the iPhone version if you're curious about customer reviews and ratings.
Thanks for giving this a look! I had a great time creating these two apps, and hope they will come in handy for someone out there.
Best regards,
ChiSoxFlyer, Developer, Bingo Fuel, Bingo Fuel HD

What exactly does it do?
Fuel to alternate (from release) + fuel to destination + 1 hour (45 minutes + 15 for approach) = Bingo.
Is there something I am missing? I confess it has been a long time since I made a bingo calculation since MEDEVACs don't hold.

@gearmaid - Thank you! Absolutely great to hear, glad you get good use out of it!
@GoBlue - Great question, and now that it's on the iPad, yes, an Android port is next on the list.
@FlyJSH - The iPad version has four components or tabs - Burn to Destination (for fuel burn, generally holding point to destination), where groundspeed, fuel flow and distance are entered.
Calculate Bingo, where reserve, alternate fuel, burn to destination and safety margin are entered, resulting in the Bingo number.
Time to Hold, where Fuel on Board, Fuel Flow and Bingo Fuel are entered, resulting in number of minutes you can hold.
And, finally, EFC Time, where Time To Hold, Holding Fix Arrival Time and given EFC time are entered, with the result displayed plus or minus the EFC time (e.g EFC +8 or EFC -6.)
Relevant values are also auto filled between tabs - burn to destination -> auto filled to the Calculate Bingo tab, Time to Hold result auto filled to EFC Time tab, etc.
Thanks for the questions and the interest!
Take care,
ChiSoxFlyer

Just a quick note - iPad version 1.2 is out (Bingo Fuel HD), iPhone version 1.5 (Bingo Fuel) as well. Fixed a few annoying bugs, but managed to implement the "Clear All" feature into the iPhone version. I know updating apps is a pain, but want to make sure people can take advantage of features and keep things running smoothly.
Thanks all!
