Not trying to rouse rabbles or anything, but why are we allowing people from west Africa into this country?

I'm no genius or anything... but the "death to America" types with money at their disposal could give a couple grand to a West African with nothing but turned-out pockets and Ebola to hop on a plane bound for the States. His/her assignment in the states would be to hug every American he/she sees. Maybe they give $1 million or so (a reasonable sum for ne'er-do-wells with their own oil refineries) to some bushy-eyed martyrs to receive those hugs voluntarily and then move freely about the country, spreading the virus.

I can guarantee I'm not the first person who thought this was a possibility... which is why I'm surprised that this person was allowed in the US. Why are we letting West Africans in the states again? At least without a 3 week mandatory observation period?

Any military experience? Know what the best countermeasure is? Here is a hint fly where they aren't.

For the same reason we are letting TB infected illegals into our schools untested. Votes.

It doesn't spread that easily. I'm sure the bad guys thought of it but decided it wouldn't pan out. To infect a stranger during casual contact would essentially require kissing him on the lips. Also by the time you're really contagious, you're incapacitated.

Yep, that's definitely what caused this person to travel from Liberia

Time to re-open Ellis Island perhaps? I believe that in times past, quarantine was common practice for visitors with a 'questionable' condition... or point of origin.
