One of my favorite Bob Hoover stories, fact or legend, who knows......
Many years ago, after an airshow in Kansas City, a rather attractive local FAA female employee, pressed a motel key into his hand.
The next day, he confided to a friend, "For years the FAA has been trying to screw me. Last night, I finally returned the favor."
