If so the more common jobs are either as a simulator instructor or as a corporate pilot. You may be able to find some foreign airlines that hire age 60 guys. I know a few guys that keep themselves current on a prticular type or two and do ferry work, but that is a hard business to break into and isn't for the typical airline pilot.

Hello,
Does anyone out there have any info on Companies that still hire PFE's who are over 60 yrs young?
According to the FAR's FE's have no age restrictions? Seeking overseas employment with a Company that appreciates seasoned experienced knowledgeable PFE's that have Pilot ratings also.
Thanks much.

If you're retiring at 60 and are current, try the fractionals...NetJets is full of retired airline guys. However, be prepared to work.
If you've been retired for a while, you might want to fly some general aviation stuff, so you're logbook doesn't have a long blank spell.
