Did anyone who interviewed Sep 28-30th get a call with a class date yet? If, yes, what's the date and which aircraft?

Atlas is different... their mgt wants to grow... and growth, REAL growth is unlikely without a new contract.

I guess one question that could be asked..is this.. of all the different customers Atlas has,, if they experience no growth or slight growth... which business will have to be shed to accommodate the Amazon deal. Crazy times.
As to your first, I guess the answer is that we just never saw them running the same acquisition, merger, and amalgamation play that they ran last time. I mean, what are the odds they would purchase another company for the sole purpose of avoiding ANY negotiations, let alone good faith negotiations? Well, as we learned, with the execs that we have at Atlas the odds are good. But how could anyone really see that coming?

I get it. It's business. They have one main goal and that is to consistently bring in earnings. Not giving raises in the tune of pay and quality of life to their labor. But Connie Kalitta eventually negotiated with his pilots, for crying out loud. Not these execs. These execs at Atlas are ruthless.

As far as your second question: the one with the slimmest margins. They absolutely can not screw the Amazon agreement up. It might take a satisfied pilot group to achieve that. In fact, I know it will.

It would be cheaper, and far safer, for Atlas to simply give us a good contract that will attract all the pilots we need. The type of flying we do is not conducive to ab initio programs. After IOE, it's pretty typical for a 747 FO to only get 1 or 2 PF legs a month.

However...the director of training has been heard referencing the 737(after our merger is complete with Southern Air) as the "training platform" for low time pilots.

The real answer...nobody knows.

Last I heard from HR was January interviews, and that they will start looking at apps again and make calls in mid November.

Default November 19th 767 Class

Does anyone know if the Nov 19th 767 class has been filled yet?
If so, how many are currently "swimming" from the Sep 28-30 interview pool?

I got a email reply saying "early 2017". I'm guessing classes filling sometime Q1, 2017.

There are people from June July time frame going to that class. It will be a while until they get back to you.

No 767 classes slated for the rest of the year. 747 class on 10/31 and a small one planned for Dec.
