Margin of error 33%. Reference CBA 24.K.3. Three year seat lock equals 36 months.

Well, I've been here almost a year now, so he's technically correct. Actually, I have 26 months to go, but who's counting?

Thanks for actually reading the CBA, Rhino12!!

If new equipment arrives (!!) and lots of 744 folks want to move to a new type, there may be situations where they may need to backfill the 744/8, and positions will become available...plus I believe they cannot keep you from a higher paying aircraft (in the case of a new equipment award).

That said, it may also be a situation where (as DC8 mentioned, I believe) that you may be pay-protected if you are held back from bidding a higher paying fleet...but right now we don't have that in the current CBA, so it may have to be an LOA/MOU.

Disclaimer: No, I do not have any double-secret knowledge of the above scenarios actually being in play at this time.

Not on 76. Only 74. One of the requirements is the sim must be company owned/operated.

Flight like briefing today...best part was video game intro.

Any idea when the application window may be opening? World is putting a chunk of guys on the street on the 23rd.

Second question. There's a sim instructor position on the Atlas web site. Any idea what they are paying?

Nope. I was in Miami this month and AQP is coming to the 76 as well. LOSA observation flights are on the way soon too.

Really? I heard 747 was first, but did not know sim was critical piece to implementation. Hmph.

LOSA started around Nov 1st...I spoke to a LCA that was in the middle of several at that time. I've got an LCA riding with me on Sunday.
