Delta Invites, Hiring, Class and Drop Stats
How about a thread that is dedicated to just the backgrounds of those getting invites to interview, the stats on those hired by background, how many put in a class and then what categories were dropped or made available for the class?
We've got really 4 good threads out there for discussions concerning the what ifs and what abouts and does anyone know about of hiring, Delta, flows and so forth, so I'm thinking one that is dedicated just to the numbers for quick reference. And break it out as much as possible so that its not just 5 out of 8 hired, 4 out of 5 were military but that the 5 hired were 2 C-130 guys from XYZ, 1 C-17 from ABC, 1 F-18 from DEF, and 1 RJ guy from ASA.

Amen to that. I was one of the last classes hired in 2001, finished OE, got consolidated, and then furloughed. Great to be back; loving the new Delta and my fNWA peeps; and looking forward to a great company until I retire! Welcome aboard guys and girls!

FWIW, and only a rumor. Again this information is unofficial, actually from a Union pilot. He emphasized "unofficially". "We will "unofficially" be hiring soon".
Also I have been hearing 1000 new hires. Again all a rumor, but lets manifest this rumor!
Good luck and I will keep my fingers crossed.

The "unofficial" number I heard was around another 300 pilots starting interviews and flowups as early as December 2010/January 2011 to bulk up for next summer's flying. Of course for that to happen they will need to make some sort of announcement very soon.
If none of the above comes to fruition, we should at least get an idea of what they're thinking with the rumored January AE (MOAB).
Here's to more newhires!

I know this is off this threads subject, but can anyone tell me how to look up a Delta Pilots name to see if they are still employed at Delta?? (He might be retired now- former Western). Is there an Email format I could try his name at? [email protected] (not his name if it ain't obvious) Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
