Default FAA Stamp for Restricted-ATP

I recently got an interview at PSA Airlines. My college, The Ohio University, has been accepted accredited for restricted ATP. They asked for me to bring Transcripts with Official FAA Stamp for Restricted-ATP authorization. Does anyone know if this should just come with my transcripts or if I have to do anything special to get the stamp?

No stamp that I am aware of.. Did you receive your temporary ATP certificate? Check the limitations section. It might be stated there I believe. If not, then did your university give you any documentation of completion of the ATP course?

Did you graduate before Ohio University was approved? Cuz I'm on the same boat. My university was just approved last month but I graduated July 2012. I'm wondering if I get grandfathered in?

Anyone?

I do not have my restricted ATP yet and was told that I should be grandfathered in. Of course it is Friday and no one is at the university to actually answer these questions.

You can't just take your transcript as is and bring it to your checkride. You need to ask your school to audit your transcript and coursework and have them add a statement of FAA reduced minimums. New degrees will likely have all this on there. I don't know the OU specifics, so you'll have to do some research. There is no grandfathering in that sense. If you meet the program requirements as the FARs are written now, then you can qualify for reduced minimums. So let's say you did the degree program and it fits perfectly as the reg is now, you're good. But let's say the degree program didn't care if you got your instrument not through the school, but the regs are written now do. In this case, you would not qualify.

Thank you very much. The course that got approved was the exact one I went through so that shouldn't be any issue. Again thank you very much this answers my question exactly.

Maybe you miss understood them? I was wondering if they want to see your official transcripts, which must be stamped by the registrar's office?

Your school can issue you a certificate or place it on the transcript once they get approval. I belive the grandfather limit is 5 years.
