pilots looking to start at regionals might want to take a look at this place. Get rid of the shiny jet syndrome and look at your lifestyle.

My first time hearing about Imagine Air.
I agree lifestyle is a huge aspect when making career moves. My only concern is if this place only operates Cirrus aircraft, what are we thinking the next career move will be for guys that do time here vs regional's? A lot of guys at my airline within the 5000-7000 hours turbine time are struggling to get noticed at any of the Legacy carriers. I am trying to imagine how would someone that works here for 2-3 years look with 3000-4000 hours with mostly single engine piston time to the majors? I know United for example wants 1000 hours turbine time so if that is someone's career goal this place may not be the wisest choice.

I really don't like to condone regional airlines to anyone, but sometimes it might be the only realistic option of getting to the big boys for some individuals if that is what they have set their sights on. Just something to consider.

Oh, and don't forget about the training contract to fly a Cirrus... It was $8,000. Not sure now.

There is a training contract with this company. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask a employee to stick around for one whole year. The company can't afford to spend thousands of dollars on a transient that wants to build currency then leave. By the way I am not a job recruiter for this company. I'm a pilot for Imagineair only trying to spread information about our recent job posting. All these things brought by PotatoeChip are not "FinePrint" during the application process. There are no smoke and mirrors with this company and all terms and conditions are explained in plain English. If anyone has any questions feel free to message me. Cheers!

No, but you conveniently left them all out. Just giving the entire picture.

Sounds like a decent, 1-2 year transition job for someone not ready for the regionals.

I put in my application when I had 1180 total time. I couldn't stand one more minute in the traffic pattern. instructing was cool for the first few months, but then after that it starts to wear on you. So when I hit part 135 mins I Sprinted out of that crummy flight school. It's a nice place to build real world experience before moving onto a job with jets.

You work there and you don't know if you are considered a full time employee?

An eight thousand dollar training bond for a single engine piston engine airplane???????????????????

A one year employment agreement for a single engine piston engine airplane??????????????

Twenty five dollars a day to eat? THAT is an insult.
