ImagineAir is a fast-growing air taxi company serving the entire east coast with plans for nation-wide coverage by 2016. We are developing new technology to change the landscape of on-demand air service, from instant online customer reservation capabilities to paperless cockpits for pilots.

Join us in our quest to change regional travel as we know it. We operate in and out of more than 1,000 airports in the Eastern U.S., and we are accepting applications for numerous locations. You may select from a list of available domiciles on the application, or fill in a new location that we should consider. We are seeking full-time and part-time (Flex) pilots.

Can you shed light on the "flex" position, (schedule expectations, pay, training?) I live in the Danbury area and am looking to supplement income with some part time flying. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. I live in CHS which I believe (could be wrong) is one of their bases. They need me to do a roundtrip for $200 an hour, I'm ok with that. Plenty of experience in the ol' Cirrus.

Hahaha... they do have a CHS base, but not the $$$ to provide $200/hr.
If I'm not mistaken, it was $150 for a call out on a day off. (And that was often a 6+ hour day).

That said, if the pay was right, I'd happily pick up flying to help them out if they'd let me.

Interesting, thanks for the info. Are they having problems with staffing?

Yeah we are having trouble staffing right now. Its a tough job to sell to new comers as well as people already in the industry. Cfi's at ATP mins are running to the regionals and seasoned pilots transitioning jobs wont come here for a pay cut. Most of our crew are retired pilots(airline ,corporate, etc..) and a few CFI's gaining 135 experience.

I tried sending them an email but it got kicked back to me. Also tried using one of their website links and that too had an error code. Anyone have a good email address I can reach them?

PM me and I will give you the email of the C.P.
Pure flex pilot pay starts at $175/ day and goes up the more days flown.
