Depends on the instructor's qualifications and total experience. We don't have a set rate for all instructors.
Base pay will be more than minimum wage, based on a 40 hour week. Hourly rate will be at least $10 per billable hour. Could be significantly more for an experienced instructor with tailwheel experience.

Just curious....Is your flight school having a difficult time finding CFIs? Is CFI turnover high?

We have plenty of part time instructors, but full time seems to be challenging to find. I have 6 or 7 part timers that have ATP's or ATP mins, and love to fly, but can't afford to leave their full time jobs to go work at the regionals. (I agree with ALPA that it is a pay shortage, not a pilot shortage.) All of my full time instructors have told me our pay and benefits are very competitive for a small school, but they want to be airline pilots, not CFI's. I can't blame them, I did the same thing myself.
I think whoever ends up taking the job will enjoy it and find our other employees, customers, and the airport regulars fun to be around.
