Default FAA "Flight Check" is hiring

Are you VRA eligible (see criteria here: https://www.fedshirevets.gov/job/shav/) and interested in a rewarding governmental flying career? Consider a position in the FAA's Airspace System Inspection Pilot "Flight Check" program. Check out this link below for job info and message me if interested.

Its been a while since the last post was made in that other thread so I just want to verify a few things. You must live at one of the bases so no commuting? what is the typical schedule like?

That's correct. No commuting. Typical schedule is fly two weeks and in the office for one. You will fly 4 days during a fly week and be in the office one day. During your office week, you can telecommute anywhere from 0-3 days per week depending on your advancement in training, manager's mood, etc. Weekends and holidays off. Expect to fly nights at least once a quarter.

Fresh information in the other thread too - including what NOT to do to highlight your application as 'INCOMPLETE'.

Current news/rumors out there about a Federal hiring freeze.
Not enough information to know yet if 'safety sensitive' positions will be affected.
