Default Guitar Stores in NYC . . .

I have a long overnight in NYC this week and I wanted to find a good guitar store in NYC. Other than Guitar Center, does anybody have any good suggestions for stores that sell electric and/or acoustic guitars in New York City?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Default For anyone interested . . .

After my long layover in NYC this last week . . . I did not go to any "local " or smaller guitar stores in NYC. I did however decide to go to Guitar Center on 14th street.

If music is your hobby and you are in NYC I actually do recommend a visit to this particular Guitar Center. It is a very large store with a great variety of "stuff" for every possible musical interest.

Very many Gibson and Fender vintage guitars for sale - unfortunately most are very expensive. Most cost more than what my Dodge Durango is worth. Fun to look at anyway.

A little late for this post, but there are some great shops in the city. Rudys, Sam Ash are 2 great music stores.

Matt Umanov Guitars is a great little shop also (bleeker street in the village). Matts' a cool guy.
