This thread is ridiculous. I feel like I'm back at a regional watching this garbage.

That's because it's a bunch of regional pilots flying the biggest airplane they have ever flown sitting in the left seat thinking their **** don't stink. Congrats on upgrade, your really special now. I make a post about how you talk about "mine mine mine" and you thrash me like your gradeschoolers. It's very similar to the way you all treated the Virgin guys in the thread awhile back saying they should all go to the bottom of the seniority list. For a pilot group that's suppose to have a lot of cool guys, there sure is a lot of tools on this thread.

You guys are right, I am wrong. Your the man and it's all about you.

First off *you're the man

Secondly:

That's from a Delta thread so it seems to me you may just have a problem with authority.

And C:

MY Captains are legacy furloughs that didn't accept recall, military guys, former corporate guys, and regional guys. Some of those pilots include a former Blue Angel, former U-2 pilot, and every other military aircraft imaginable. Some were former chief pilots to very large corporate flight departments. Some were check airman at their former regional. I've never flown with a guy I wouldn't fly with again.

Yes we are right, yes you are wrong. We are the men, however it's not all about us. It's all you.

Perfectly said. Now we can finally put this to rest! WhiteHammer seems to have "little d1ck" syndrome.

The name 'white Hammer' seems a little bit suspect to me...

Who fraking cares. You're my FO, You're my capt, don't really care how I'm addressed.

A perfect trip:

Both pilots wearing lanyards.
Good discussion involving boobs (if you're into that), football, and where we are going to grab a beer.
Get to layover hotel, now beer is consumed. (Hooray!)
Repeat for days 2,3, or 4.
Go home, don't talk about airplanes. Watch football.

Did I mention football starts soon. FOOTBALL! What a wonderful time of the year. A whole season devoted to drinking beer, eating brats, and watching the greatest sport ever. (Go Pats)

I wear the lanyard, but I think we are all adult enough to still have this perfect trip, even if the guy next to us isn't wearing the required "15 pieces of flare." (to quote Office Space.) Signs and symbols will not improve the quality of the negotiators we've put in place. To place so much emphasis on something like a lanyard reminds me of a typical high school clique. We are gown a** men and women, and supposedly professionals as well. ALPA is here and we are negotiating with the company; with or without any lanyards. We are not laborers who never made it past high school, and need the extra signs and slogans to follow the collective sheep. Everybody who has such a hard-on about these lanyards that they would stop treating a colleague with some common courtesy needs to grow up.
