Do you really see yourself as a better person or pilot than the guy sitting next to you? Because that's how your acting.

I can see you're (that's the correct placement and spelling FYI) frustrated and feel like it's a crap in you kind of thing. I just finished my first year as an FO, I work for CA. He/she owns the plane. Do I care if someone says "He's my FO on this trip"? Absolutely not bc I answer to the CA. Is it because they are fat, lazy, regional slobs that just happened to get hired before me? No, they are a mix of guys and girls who cut their teeth in various ways to get where they are....much like I suspect you and I did. They have experience, and they have the right and the responsibility that goes along with it.
I am an FO, I know the rank structure, and I am proud to be here. You should be too, bc we cannot lead if we first do not know and learn how to follow.
You are right that people can be "tough" when posting on a web board. I would be happy to meet you wherever you want to discuss this...in person. I have faith in MY captains as they have faith in me. I implore you to not disparage that relationship.

To those bashing the guys for not wearing lanyards: realize a lot were defective in shipping like mine. I can basically jump rope with it and the plastic ring to attach an id is cracked. I emailed my lec as instructed and was told about the damage shipment and that he was out but they are working on getting new ones to everyone. If anyone has an extra non defective one and you want to get it to me let me know. I am wearing my pin.

I saw some lanyards being placed in the crew room in BOS by the union (physical) message board a couple weeks ago. Haven't been back since but I'd check the crew rooms for extras. I have a couple in my bag if you'll be at OSC. Just PM me.

Every reaction and attitude here is a direct result (sarcasm or not) to your attitude in your post.
