I was told by someone who was already onboard to use as much room as possible . I had mine professionally written and well, it worked for me.....Make sure you use all of the "buzzwords" that are in the KSA, based upon the peeps reading these are looking for that.

To those interested, I hear the applicant pool is pretty shallow. It should be a wide open door to walk through with a solid resume and well written KSA's.
I was told earlier this week that there were only 90 qualified applicants nationwide (GA Ops).

Who told you that and where did they get that number from? In order to be a "qualified" applicant all you need is what is listed (1500 hours, mandatory ratings and certs. etc.). Your telling me only 90 applicants nationwide have those requirements? Lol maybe 9000 applicants and that's probably a low estimate.

I would have understood that number to be the number of qualified people who have put in applications for the job.

I think you overestimate the number of people looking to be an ASI in this market by a very large amount.

No actual airplane flying at the Academy starting next month.
All new hire training will be in the FTDs.
