The longer I am away, the more I see the foolishness of the flying profession. It is nothing but a rat race that you can get anywhere else with a lot less sacrafice. Right now I am in construction and it is a rat race too but at least I have nothing invested and if it ended tommorow it wouldn't matter, there is always another dead end job out there for you if you just need to pay your bills. Unless you personally know the people that you fly for you will always just be a name in their game and a means to their ends, and they could care less about you. Why sacrafice years of your life and tens of thousands in ratings all to get to an airline management system that is just an extended version of the high school boys club? Do I miss flying? Yes. Just not all the baby games that go with it in most cases!
