Here we go, be prepared to be harassed at work today, when is this going to stop? Crazy SOB's
It will stop when we go all out on the GWOT and not worry about political correctness, world opinion, or our congressman focusing on doing what's right instead of how they're going to be reelected. If we are serious about this as a country, bring back the draft. I don't consider GWII another Viet Nam, but once again we are in a restricted operations campaign which does nothing but prolong the suffering on both sides.

I'm assuming you're serious enough that you just enlisted or currently in the armed forces...

My only problem with reinstating the draft is how detrimental it will be on the efficiency of our armed forces. America's military is one of if not THE best in the world for a couple of reasons. Obviously money and technology are at the forefront but the fact that our military is an all volunteer military seriously aids in morale and overall effectiveness.
In my honest opinion the draft wouldn't help the military in this country unless America was blatantly attacked by a known military and entered a conflict more on the scale of Korea/WWII.
Just my $.02

The guys on the ground are beyond maxed out...continuing to do more with less isn't going to cut it. Having guys/gals away from their family for as long as is happening now isn't helping morale either. I'm open to other suggestions however.
