Default London Heathrow

I'm non-reving to Europe and going to be transiting through LHR. Does anybody know if I can take more than one carry on bag as well as liquid/gel toiletries etc? I know that regular pax passing through LHR are normally restricted to one piece of carry on. I'm not going to be in uniform (once I get passed the TSA on this side of the pond) although I will have it with me along with my crew ID. Would it help to be in uniform at LHR security even though I am on vacation and my company doesn't fly there? I'd really like to avoid the hassle of having to check in a bag.

Thanks,
wolf

From what I've heard and seen on the news, LHR is a nightmare. Ticketed pax making Int'l connections with a 2 hour layover are missing connections because of the security lines.

You will only be allowed one carry on unless you are working a flight. And I don't think the uniform will help you unless you are working either.

I would avoid LHR at all costs. Try Gatwick.
