Those numbers are usually skewed after emerging from bankruptcy, because of the massive influx of financing, which they have to report. Their real profit was $274 million, which is very good, and a great improvement over the past 2 years.

This looks very good especially in light of the fact that getting back to there orginal contract pay wise is based on profitability in the future.

????? Getting back to our original contract pay has to do with what can neogotiate over the next couple of contracts. It's going to be awhile. With that said, things are looking better, but we're not out of the woods yet. There is much catching-up to do from the years of cuts, e.i. ground support equipment, staffing levels, infrastructure, etc. How about our fleet plan. Can't spend too much in preparation for the next economic downturn, but have to service our international growth and the accompanying feed, as well as deal with our aging fleet.

Very good news. I agree we are NOT out of the woods yet, but this is great news.

Amazing what bankruptcy and not paying your bills or employees will do for the bottom line!!

Your right. I still can't wrap my mind around the 757 and 76 300er being considered old and needing to be replaced. but it's true.

Hey Tom what would it take in terms of pay and qol to get you to vote yes on a TA here in a couple years? just curious what everyone else has in mind.

Looks like management needs bonuses and pay raises.
