Default Great selling point "newer, lower-paid pilots"

What if you were about to have open heart surgery... Would you look for a "newer, lower paid doctor"?

<In addition to providing passengers with more travel options, airlines like using regional planes for other reasons, too: when full, RJs can offer lower per-seat operating costs than larger airliners. The planes are often flown by newer, lower-paid pilots, as well.>

Notice they don't mention that one of the reasons the pilots are "newer, lower-paid" is the fact that RJs are less than half the size of most other narrowbodies?
