I live on the WA side out east past Camas so the Max isn't the easiest. Does anyone know how long you can park your car at the Park Rose Station or the Fishers Landing Station in WA?

I looked into parking there about a year or so ago. It was around 90 bux for 3 months or something like that. No idea what it is now.

$40/month paid in 3-month, non-prorated increments...$120

Some folks have a deal with the local hotels that is cheaper (free). There's usually a "waiting for the shuttle" issue. I use the non-dom parking and haven't had a problem with it.

Furthermore, are there any NW commuters out of PDX? If so, do you know if the company will pick up the parking bill at PDX rather than at a base?

Actually, I'd call them smart. Mass transit is really great, and light rail is flashy and cool, but it is a REALLY non-cost effective solution. You could build bus-only lanes for a tiny fraction of the cost. MAX is cool, but it is VERY expensive (not even faintly close to paying for itself). Besides, what's the upside for them? Subsidizing the transfer of their shopping dollars to the Oregon side? 'Cause we sure as heck aren't breaking records to go shopping in Vancouver! Rejection of that kind of project is probably why you chose to live in Clark County in the first place (low taxes).
