"Qualifications commensurate with experience" or something along those lines (Cecil Ewell friends&family program). I think the Kude put a stop to that and instituted some kind of hourly min's but I can't quite remember... something around 1500 PIC, maybe?
Anyway, we'll teach you how to properly salute once you hit new hire school. (along with taking the donut ring out of your hat for that 50 mission Sky Nazi look.)

When they start to hire the minimums will reflect the state of the industry at that time. Keep in mind that minimums are typically not competitive at the majors - that is unless you knew somebody, like Cecil at American or Plato at DAL . Although I heard plenty of people had luck stalking them in parking lots and elevators.
