United Hogan assessment?

Actually, I really wasn't upset by it. I already had a conditional hire from my #1 choice. However, I was surprised that I wouldn't be the type they were seeking ... especially after earning several leadership and group awards ... many of them which were the result of teamwork and customer service.
Go figure.
I think the test is f*cked.

It took them 2 days to get back to me after the first assesment. Then it took 5 days after the phone interview. Then the second round of assesment it took them six days. I am interviewing mid Febuary. Good Luck. They actually told me on the phone that alot of people are not making it threw the first personality assesment. I just answered the questions honestly and didn't try to overthink the question.

Funny, but to me that points out a problem. If you are working off of a standard bell curve and you are now saying "most" are not passing you have a flawed test. Either that or we're all nuckin futs!

I was in an idoc at another airline and over half of us had not passed the United test. How funny that one airline turned us down and another hired us all. I passed the Delta test but failed the United. ***?
In the next decade they will say it was all bunk like the Nancy Stuke days.
Work these companies to the bone to what they will offer you. The days of corporate equality are dead. Maybe Southwest understands this in its heydays but for the rest....get what you can while you can. Todays crew scheduling darling is tomorrows *****.

I wouldn't over think why you didn't pass one personality test, and you did on the next.
The assessments are not "graded" per se, they are scored, and unlike the university you may have gone to, they aren't scored on a curve. The airline that is having the test administered has set a numerical box, with both an upper and a lower limit. Score inside the box, welcome to the interview, score outside the box, thanks... but you're not the right fit. Hence, you could have a majority of people not getting invited for an interview.
You should be happy they didn't hire you, since if you truthfully answered the questions the organization wouldn't have been a good fit for you, and there was a company whose profile fit your personality.
