Gee, I guess you either have loads of money, are in oil, or couldn't care less how much of an impact this is starting to have on the airline/transportation industry. Hopefully you're at one of the carriers that's being impacted by this insanity in the oil industry, and will be the first out the door when the cuts start kicking in. Then you can say the "sky is falling" as we laugh at you in the unemployment line.................

The cool thing is they have a new way of filing unemployment. Now you can check in each week online, and not only do you not have to go to the unemployment office, but you don't even have to use the automated phone system we had to use after this similar thing happened to our industry back in the early 2000's. It's AAWWEESSOMME!!

If you can't control it, quit worrying about it. Or get out of the business and do something that isn't controlled by the price of oil. You will quickly find out that there is (almost) no such beast.

I don't think it's funny at all.... I just think that the panic and fear I see about something that none of us can control is a bit rediculous. I have absolutely on control over the price of oil, so why should I stress myself out over it? Yeah it might suck, but hey, that's life. Deal with it and move on.

The only true experts are predicting the price of oil to go up.

How crazy is it. The United States (the largest oil consumer) is entering a recession. Alan Greenspan thinks it may be the worst recession since WW2. Oil consumption is down since last year. Yet the price of oil continues to increase?!?

Now imagine if the US economy was growing, and out oil consumption was constant...think about how high the price of oil would be going right now!

The United States need to switch to some form of alternative energy. We need to cut our oil usage drastically or our economy will continue in recession. And it needs to happen NOW!!

Until then, this news of higher and higher and higher oil prices should not catch anyone off guard. Buckle up. The next few years are going to get interesting.
