Default Alaska Airlines Shareholder Meeting

It is scheduled for May 20, 2008, at the Museum of Flight, to begin at 2 pm. As a shareholder, I plan to be there and might be persuaded to ask some questions of Ayer and The Gang. So if you see an obnoxious lawyer up in the front asking annoying questions, that would be me.

Don't worry. You won't be the only one asking questions to annoy Ayer. There will be at least 500 pilots in full uniform sitting right next to you.

And a few more milling around outside

For those who may have forgotten, Alaska Airlines pilots had 1/3rd of their pilots picketing the last BOD. CAL on wall street was impressive, but for a show of solidarity en mass, the Alaska pilots are unmatched.

I think I heard that there is one airline out there that has threatened to FIRE any pilots that show up to there share holders meeting wearing their uniforms..... Any thoughts?

Really? Perhaps that should be one of my annoying questions.

Better not be true, but if any pilot gets fired for simply showing up at a shareholders meeting dressed in full uniform, I will represent you, pro bono, in any hearing.

We do it every year. They would have a tough road to hoe if they decided to play that way this year.
