Default 737-300 jumpseat

how can you tell if a 737-300 has one jumpseat or 2? I've been on several that have 2, but also several that don't. Can you tell by the configuration? I know some 300s are 8/106 and others are 8/112. I just want to stop commuting....

I was atempting to jumpseat from SEA to DEN the other day on Alaska or Southwest. I asked the gate agent if there were one or two Jmpsts. They seemed to tell me with confidence how many there were.

SWA has at least 6 -300s that have only 1 jumpseat.

Really, haven't come across one yet in my years here. Granted, it's mainly used as a backpack closet, but I'll keep an eye out.

Most US Airways 733's in the East Operation are single jumpseat. Most 734's in the East are dual jumpseat. All of the 733's in the West Operation are dual jumpseat, except one (can't remember the tail #). This is all subject to current MEL's, as previously stated.
