My buddy's brother didn't get his references called and he got the job.

However, this was last years DB.

July 10th in the AM. From the email traffic, all 6 interviewees got the call. Pretty amazing, 4 were military of some variety (guard/reserve/active and retired) and 2 civies flying 737s for CAL.

Disco, three of us in the afternoon got the call so far. I'm holding out hope for the others. Great showing though for your group. I was the CAL guy that showed up early and met most of you guys as you were leaving from your session.

You guys that got the call from the Aug DB, did they offer class dates, or is a simple congrats and we will get back to you? Any intel when you might start class?

Just a call from an ACP with his number to call with any questions. He asked that I don't call the ladies at the PD since they are pretty busy right now. He didn't have class date info, but a friend who always seems to have good info said 2 classes a month through the rest of the year, 600 hires next year, and Denver opening a base in 6-8 months. I can't swear by any of it, but I trust the source since he is a pretty good intel source.

That all jives with intel I've been hearing from the inside also..

Can't speak for the recent new hires, but I am a Dec pool date and have not been offered a class date yet. To all those that got the call recently congrats!

Oh I'm not in yet - 3 Sep interview. Just curious as to how all the timing works once you get the thumbs up..
