I would think a good bunch of folks have the type this year for this round of interviews. I know that wasn't the case as much last year, but I can tell you I had my app in for about a year then added the type and got the call in just over a week

A whole lot of nothing I'm in a FRED unit but I have to go to school for that too. Good luck in your upcoming interview. Remember to relax and be yourself. And if you stay at the Holiday Inn its free beer from 5-6

A whole lot of nothing sounds like a great gig. What is a FRED unit? You still going to do the military gig after SWA (guard /reserve?)

Staying at the Renaissance - I imagine I'll be paying for the beer there

It is when your parents are nice enough to let you crash in their basement FRED= C-5 It stands for F****ing Ridiculous Economic Disaster. I guess when it came out it had severely exceeded its budget. Barney= C-17 Because its FREDS little buddy. So yes I do plan on continuing on with the reserves. I think you might be in luck. I've heard the Renaissance has a happy hour there as well. Just remember you are interviewing the next day so try not to have too much fun

Oh and I almost forgot bring cookies and chocolates to the flight attendants. They'll love you for it!
