That will stop if/when political correctness goes out of fashion.

Because flying is a privilage, not a right. The govt's attitude is, "Don't like the rules, take the bus."

Apparently, the passenger that was arrested, must not have read the small print on Jet Blue's "Customer Bill Of Rights."

There's a undesirable passenger list circulating among the airlines?

No, it's a right. That is why the govt. forces us to work under RLA and we have to have permission to strike. Rigged gainst us for the benefit of J.Q. Public

there has to be more to the story....
If she does sue them... there's going to be even more lawsuits going on to airlines, consequently less pay, etc, etc after that you'll have to sign a waiver of rights to get on the airplane, etc etc

Why do we have to tolerate the abridging of our personal liberties?
I hate to break it to you but your personal liberties went out the window in jan 20th 2001 and was gone forever in jan 20th 2004.

So she almost got arrested when she demanded names of the people involved which she has a right to do. What a total cluster ______ that this simple event turned into. Since when does the FA turn into a cop and start a full fledge investigation into a man screaming. Tell the people in that row to clam down, shut it and behave like civilized people.

This is the kind of crap that the government likes to say, but the ninth amendment to the constitution specifically forbids this kind of crap.

If you all remember the US is different than the rest of the world in that our rights come from a higher power and the government can only take away rights for the good of all. This is opposed to other countries where the rights of the citizens come from the government thus, citizens have no rights except the ones granted by the government.

Therefore, this "it's a privilege not a right" is a lot of bull. You have all the rights of a human except those specifically taken away for a good reason. Last time I checked the US government had not taken away the right to fly. I agree; this police state which is currently trying to take away every right they can, has got to stop.
