Default Open Skies?

Can someone explain the proposed Open Skies deal that is in congress? What is it all about? What will it do to our industry here in the states? Who is supporting it? What are the good things? What are the bad? Anyone?

That is too in depth for this board. It is more common to nip at the heels of the true greats, to boast of todays stars, or to make excuses why the also rans can't negotiate real wages.

It may be the sour mash or just plain sour on the lack of intestinal fortitude of my "union brothers".

Brief overview touching on the basics: Open skies - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are a lot of complex issues associated with many of the finer points. The countries involved are all trying to meet their concept of a level playing field. Some people are drinking heavily to cope and mocking their brother's weakness.
Unions don't seem to hold much sway in these talks.

Basically, it is the camel's nose under the tent before we get cabotage'd... the next "crisis" in the industry that will send wages and benefits spiralling toward the dirt.
