Like the post after this...you're joking right?

NWA would still be on the uniforms.

If you want to know where a NWA flight attendant is based you have to give her the Hula Hoop test.

If you can't get the hoop over her hair she is Memphis based, if the hoop wont go over her hips she is Minneapolis Based and if it gets stuck on her ankles she is Seattle based.

To go with those red dresses, you need 6'2" blonds with black thigh highs, 4" pumps. And in a for fuel savings measures... leave the knickers home.

Oh by the way no twigs and berries allowed.

I know I am speaking to the choir, but I wish something could be done to keep our FA's young, vibrant, and physically abled. Call me sexist, I don't care. These ladies need to be able to open doors and move people out in an emergency. Some of these grannies will not be able to do this.

I'm shocked when I see a 76ER crew in JFK. Why in the world are these old ladies continuing to work?

Heard a story (unverified at this point) that an older FA asked for a wheelchair because it was too long of a walk to the crew bus. The Captain offered her a chair and a replacement FA for the return or she could walk with the rest of the crew. She walked.

Years ago NWA had a CA who told a SEA based FA to prove to him she could get out of the overwing exit on the 727 or get off the trip. She left.
