Can't say about how it goes against ATL, but if CVG were to become an ER base, they will remove the domestic side according to the ACP. If it doesn't become an ER base, they will shrink the 75/76 category at CVG making it even more senior.

In a conversation w/CVG ACP last week he stated the same things that "dragon" said above. His latest CVG newsletter stated that there would be an AE in late August, but this week I heard it could be slid to early September. You certainly can't count on it until you see it posted.

Regarding posting as someone questioned earlier in this thread, there is usually a "pop-up" in eCrew to let you know that a bid is out and the weekly Flight Ops enewsletter will generally give advance notice of it as well. If posted, you can access it from Delta Net or from eCrew.

Just flew witha guy from the 4th deck and he said that they wanted to get the AE done in Aug but it got pushed a little bit. We are currently a little short on narrow body copilots so mgmt is considering a few options including hiring new pilots or displacing. We are short of wide body folks here in JFK, at least for the summer. Maybe LAX is overstaffed in the ER category as they are flying some NY trips. Maybe the fall schedule slowdown will normal things out. I do not see how we can support next summers flying schedule with the new 777's and 737's we are taking delivery of with the current manning. We will lose a few folks every month due to illness etc and every pilot seems critical right now. Obviously my vote is for new hires being one myself.
