Default UAL Furloughs

Is UAL still going to furlough in Sept, or did they finally think better of it?

If so, did you guys get all your sick time used up?

Good luck to all-

Actually, the September furloughs were cancelled through voluntary leaves (98). The first furloughs are October 29, and total 48. They may reduce that number with further voluntary leaves.Randy

Randy, I wish that were true. BUT, it is not. I was originally going to be furloughed Sept 10. However, because of some voluntary leaves (thank you BTW), I was pushed back... A WHOPPING WEEK!
So now it is officially Sept. 17.

And Farm Boy, Hell would have to freeze over for NO FURLOUGHS to happen.
UAL has a plan up their sleeve I am sure.

I am mistaken - and I am at the bottom! I am a 2172, so I feel for you. How many were in the 17th group, and is there another before the late October 48?

Don't know. But look at Skynet under flight ops, and furlough information.

Good to see that it's not just management at UAL with lousy ethics.

Of course, if I misread your "too bad" comment, my apologies.
